Our Curriculum
Thomas Elementary provides a rigorous curriculum, nurturing environment, foreign languages, Expeditionary Learning, active hands-on learning, real-world project-based learning, and leadership skills that you can’t find anywhere else in the state.
Emphasizes reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills to build a strong foundation in literacy. This includes phonics, vocabulary development, comprehension strategies, creative writing, and public speaking.
Encourages inquiry-based learning to foster curiosity about the natural world. Covers topics such as life sciences, physical sciences, earth sciences, and environmental education, with an emphasis on hands-on experiments and field studies.
Focuses on developing a deep understanding of mathematical concepts, problem-solving skills, and logical reasoning. Engages students through hands-on activities, real-world applications, and exploration of numeracy, geometry, algebraic thinking, and data analysis.
